This is the bush I found in the corner of the garden behind the over grown butterfly bush, apparently it is an Australian Bottle brush plant, it has these amazing flowers.

I had one of these plants given me last spring - it had masses of those fantastic scarlet flowers all through the summer. This winter I moved the pot against the brick wall of the house, in a sheltered place, and it was doing OK until beginning of April, then one sharp late frost finished it off, they seem to need some protection. How big is yours? Mine was about two foot high, in a large half-barrel pot. Perhaps once they get established and hve done a few winters they are OK,
