Aqua Swirl cushion

So this is after its first vist to the washing machine, it has been in again since and I think that it will have to go in for a third go as still not quite as flat as I would like .
Other knitting news I have resisted all of the sea silk or lace weight Lion and Lamb that keep calling to me in the store asking to be knitted into a lace shawl and have concentrated on a mini sock design for my sock class.
Just one last thought on the newspaper publishing my blog, I have spent a lot of time blogging about knitting over the last year or so but they seemed to have chosen three entries with very little knitting content, I am sure Wandsworth was gripped by my installment about cooking a casserole. Posted by Picasa

I haven't seen the article, but someone mentioned it to me. Typical, they can't even be bothered to check out what they're copying!
I'm very interested in how your cushion turns out as I have this pattern. I'll be in the shop on sat am!

I had to put the felted flowers in the machine at least 3 times. I think the front loaders take a bit longer. Did you put a few old towels in with it? That would help as well.
Can't wait to see the finished product.

It's looking great and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out! As for journalists - well, they are in a world of their own, and need to learn a few manners!

Hello. I visited the shop on Saturday afternoon (after seeing someone else recommend it), and then came home to find my housemate reading that article!

Anyway, I thought the store was absolutely gorgeous -- it stocks so many brands that you can't find anywhere else and I could have spent an absolute fortune if I'd let myself (and if my boyfriend weren't mooching around rolling his eyes and looking bored -- next time I go alone!). Also we thought it was a bit strange that the blog entries the paper published weren't massively about knitting (or that they were, but referred to pictures that weren't printed), but I think it was just lazy journalism. However I hope it really helps the shop -- I'll be back many times, and am about to post an article on my blog raving about it. Good luck, and thank you!
