Falling to pieces

Ok so the flu went and then unfortunately the back went!!!! So have been taking things very slowly in fact last friday moving anything including any knitting hurt so I have ended up watching a lot of awful daytime TV now its alright for the first day but after that one more discussion on who the babies father is gets a little wearing you also have time to have thoughts like hasn't Prince William started to look like Prince Edward. I know far to much time on my hands :)

In the last couple of days I have managed to start doing some knitting and decided to tackle the modular sock pattern again. I think this was at least my third attempt.
Now I know that my tension is a little on the tight side but decided to go with the needles suggested and a yarn that is identical to the one suggested. Well here is the result

Thankfully I have quite big feet so I think this will be ideal for me and the self striping yarn have given it a very 'individual' look not sure that I would use it again but I refuse to unpick this one and start again.

Since these photos were taken I've got a little further and have put the heel in and have just started the toe pictures tomorrow back allowing.
